Out record shopping, this has been a part of my life since was a nickel youth. Today found some jewels. One of the most influential crews out there to enhance the drive to get the fingers dusty is D.I.T.C. Diggin’ In The Crates crew. Diamond D, Lord Finesse, (R.I.P.) Big L, Buckwild, O.C., Fat Joe, Showbiz & AG. These dudes coined the digging in the crates term. They’re a thick crew with super producers and emcees. They have carved some of the illest classics in Hip Hop today without question. There’s a song on my latest album Distraktions called Dirty Record that was inspired by D.I.T.C. go peep it now! Been exercising lately and trying out new things like Parkour training. This gets my blood pumping. What made me pick this up was a few things: Jackie Chan has always been one of my favorites, this movie called District 13 with Cyril Raffaelli and David Belle (these dude's serious with it), what made me actually start messing around with it was when I was stumped on a beat and rhyme. I was so frustrated about this track I was working on that I had to get the heart rate moving, so I started jumping off a few things. Realizing a dude could get really hurt doing this crazy ish, did some research and found the Urban Free Flow. Go check'em out. Creating this album with a adrenaline rush yawl. Peace - Distrakt

Had on my lucky Beatnuts shirt. Them dudes are still one of the illest. I love playing a game of chess. This is one of my cohorts Travis on the left in thought. Yo, but when there’s no one around to play you can catch me on The RZA Wu Chess site.
Hit me up you ever want to play.
There are 318,979,564,000 possible combinations of the first four moves in chess. Salute - Distrakt

Distrakt Message Board ICON

Go ahead and grab the Icon for your message board.

Wanted to give a quick shout out to one of my homeboys in Florida named Laws. He's a dope emcee. Crazy lyrics. He made the Rawkus top 50. I produced a track for him on that project as well. Go check him out and see for your self.

Distrakt On The Boards

At work mixing down a joint. Making sure the mixdown is hard body, because if it's a poor mix, mastering can't do anything for it. It’s all in the mix. Basically what I'm saying is that you can pour syrup on $h!@, but that doesn't mean that makes it pancakes. Get it right the first time and save your self a lot of trouble.

Stevie Wonder like work ethic

Magic has happened in this studio. Music you can feel. The energy from Stevie Wonder has kept me moving since I was a nickel youth. Timeless masterpieces.
